Sobre Mí
Following our departure from Vezelay, we travel north, where we arrive in Rouen, the capital of the Normandy region, after many hours and several fines (keep an eye out for the Autovelux). To summarize, the hotel where we stayed was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen: and I'm not talking about opulence, but rather the accessible luxury of being able to sleep in the wonderful home of driving directions a very nice Norman couple, just outside the city's perimeter. Chambres d'Hôtes La Maison is the name of the bed and breakfast, and the vote, which was divided between hospitality, breakfast, location, and atmosphere, was a well-deserved 10. It's amazing how magical the stay at the Maison was, and how little the city itself was worth mentioning. Thoughtful, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time with it. After a few hours of strolling around and away, we are on our way again.
